This week, Slow Food USA launched its Time for Lunch campaign. They’re gathering signatures to show support for prioritizing “real food” in reauthorization of the upcoming Child Nutrition Act, which funds school lunch (and breakfast) programs nationwide.
Reauthorization by Congress is slated for September and Slow Food is organizing a national day of action this Labor Day, with local Eat-Ins around the country. Join the National Day of Action to get REAL FOOD in schools!
